I think if you’ve ever read a review from me, you know I love feminine rage. Showing Teeth hits so many nails on the head for me. Strong female vocals, both singing and screaming, and beautiful music.

 

Hailing from parts unknown, Showing Teeth is carving out a name for herself. This album is a perfect showing of that. It’s heavy, insightful, and gives a sense of nostalgia while remaining fresh.

 

The album itself comes in as a lion and leaves a lamb, but I mean this in the absolute best way. The album is a progression of emotions. Lyrically beautiful. There’s even a track that seems to be a voicemail from a loved one. If I had to make comparisons to get you to listen to the album, it gave me the same vibes I got from listening to SpiritBox’s Eternal Blue for the first time.

 

This is a stunning work of art.
