A collaboration of multiple minds has come together to give us EXP. A nostalgic experience in modern times. Obviously, this was my first time hearing them, so I put on my headphones and went in headfirst.

 

I was reading the bio that they sent me. And while I agree on parts, I do truly feel like this band would’ve thrived in the 70s. They have a psychedelic, punky vibe. There’s strong musicality here. The lyrics are strong and easy to understand. You’ll catch yourself singing along.

 

Perhaps this is my horror film brain, but Billy’s Mask gave me heavy Scream vibes. Made the song a lot of fun to listen to. So much so that I went back and listened to it after going through the whole album. Isle Of Skye is a beautiful instrumental piece that I also re-listened to.
