For over two decades, PSYCROPTIC has operated at the vanguard of technical death metal, defined by instrumental precision, structural intelligence and an uncompromising creative ethic.

 

This is my first introduction, but for sure my not last listen to of the band. Psycroptic is exactly what I love in melodic post hardcore or blackened metal. This heavy, super technical riffs. Technically sound and precise vocals. It’s a beautiful melding of sonic assault.

 

This album is a heavy progression. Our Pillars Fall marks the middle of the album. It comes in as a lamb and leaves as a lion. I personally rather enjoyed the slower dynamics and what they added to the album.

 

All in all it’s a really solid album.
