The second album coming from black metal outlet ÆNIGMATUM came out in the end of July but has only recently blessed my ear drums.

 

There is something I love about technical death metal. This band hits a myriad of highlights. Brutality, technical execution and catching vocals. The album seems both never ending and short in its sonic assault. I found myself lost in the music as well as wondering just how long each song was. It’s not a bad thing or even a complaint. Just an observation of the flow.

 

Speaking of flow, the album is effortless in its flow. Each song is perfectly placed and balanced to go into the next. The ability to reply here is high. I found myself listening to this almost nonstop while reviewing it. Like I needed a constant reminder of just how good they are while writing.

 

I could go on and on, but I truly think you should listen to this.
