New York/Texas-based duo DIMINISHING presents its second release, The Outcome, through Anti-Corp Music.

 

Formed in 2019 by Texas-based Lane Oliver (ex-Yatsu, Feel Happiness) and New York-based David Brenner (Gridfailure), DIMINISHING released its demoralizing debut album, The Unnamable, through Anti-Corp in 2023.

 

Okay y’all. I need you to strap in. This is a nonstop rollercoaster through a soundscape built for a horror movie. A deep descent into madness. Straight up how the fall to Hell would sound.

 

Is there a standout track? No. But that’s because all four parts of the album are a continued stream of consciousness. A single thought broke up into parts during the descent into madness.

 

While this is music, this is also an art piece of spoken word peril. A horror movie of the soul. It’s only up to you if you want to ride the descent down.
