War On Women Time Under Tension Review

All I can say is wow. I love feminine rage. War On Women addresses so many societal issues, in my opinion, on their latest album Time Under Tension.
Let’s break it down. Lyrically this album hits a lot of internal heart strings. If you’ve ever lived similar experiences that they spell out, you’re left entranced. I’m huge on lyrics. To me they’re the part that makes music, music. Strong lyrics can make the worst music perfect.
The music on this album is so great. Ebbing from the rage to technical perfection. It provides genre blending sounds from song to song. Ebbing from what I consider prog to punk to just metal. It follows and complements the lyrics perfectly.
There’s so many stand out songs on the album. Genuinely, a no skip album. For if you skip you miss the beauty that is this raw emotion. I will say ‘Serve’ is likely my favorite song. It speaks to trauma given by broken relationships.
You’ve got some nerve.
