Ingested Denigration Review

For nearly two decades, Manchester’s INGESTED have stood as one of the UK’s most uncompromising forces in extreme metal.
This is my first introduction to Ingested. All I can is wow. For multiple reasons. First, off the bat we’re met with insanely fast blast-beats. They almost sound fake, but they’re just that good. The deep gutturals that are almost pig squeals is a feat that most people can’t hit.
There’s a lot of heavy musicality in the album. Honestly playing music this heavy, it’s more than just power riffs, open chords, and distortion.
My only complaint is that the deep gutturals are overused. It can take away from the lyrics that were written. There’s nothing wrong with heavy gutturals, Hell I listen to Lorna Shore and you’re lucky to be able to understand their goblin vocals. But I can’t help but think that some diversity would be a benefit.
Don’t let my complaint deter you though. This is pure face melting metal.
