TODOMAL

Graveyards of Joy

Season of Mist

2026

Todomal gives us their third album in a trilogy of slow burning doom and beautiful despair. Graveyards of Joy is a very fitting title for the lyrical progression of the album.

Todomal is one of those bands I wish I discovered earlier. They carry sadness the same way Katatonia does. However, being from Spain there’s touches of traditional Spanish guitar that sets them apart.

The music on this album is stunning. I wish I were wordier to try explain just how beautiful it is. But it’s like staring at an art piece in a museum and feeling emotions and not knowing how to name them.

The lyrics also feel like a peek into someone’s personal diary. Hearing their most inner thoughts. A pouring of their heart to the tune of music. It almost feels all too personal to listen to, while at the same time, begging to be heard. A not so silent cry.

I will absolutely be working this into my rotation of music.
