From the heart of the fertile Sacramento underground music scene, including four members of the legendary metallic hardcore outfit Will Haven, FOREIGN FILM is preparing to release their debut album, A Love Letter.

 

One thing that I love about discovering new music is when I stumble onto bands like this. This is a Goth ‘Love Letter’ to those who enjoy the genre. The closest I would say they sound like is Deftones (when they’re more melodic).

 

The album feels like a lullaby of sorts. These long, drawn-out words, the heavy yet peacefully droning music. It’s really an impressive piece to sway and close your eyes to. An album that begs for feelings and emotions. A raw showing of heart.

 

There are no standouts on this album, only because the album stands out as a whole. That may seem confusing but truly this is an epic performance of heart.
