Infected Dead

Invicta

Self-released

2026

More than the sum of their parts and born again through perseverance, grit and cosmic horror, Kent’s INFECTED DEAD marks their arrival into 2026 as a newly fine-tuned and reincarnated beast.

This is death metal at its best. It did take me a few listens to absorb everything Infected Dead is providing us with this EP. And I’m really happy that I devoted the time to listen multiple times.

The music is absolutely technical. There is precision in all aspects. Yes, of course there are blast beats, but if you listen beyond that there is this amazing talent unfolded. The band made me think of Dethklok. How both have extremely precise musicality and vocals.

In Spaces Beyond stood out to me. I was captured by the bass line and then serenaded by brutal vocals and dual guitars. The lower gutturals are perfection. Lyrically, it’s fantastic.

Maybe Infected Dead stands in a genre all their own. Give it a listen and I’m sure you’ll hear it too!
