Flatwounds is what I think Nirvana would sound like if they came out of the hardcore scene. Colin O’Hare’s vocals are nostalgic but fresh at the same time.
This is my first go listening to them and it was an absolute blast. There’s a consistency in the music that keeps your attention. All while Colin is delivering perfect vocals.
It’s hard to pick out a standout song because this album has zero skips from start to end. It’s raw, smart, and heavy. This EP is a quick listen, but it has easy replay abilities.
