ERDVE is a metal band from Vilnius, Lithuania, experimenting with extreme music since 2016.

This is my first introduction to the band. Gotta say, I am absolutely loving it. They’re very heavy, gritty and I do love a band that will hoot and holler at me.


Musically, I would say they’re akin to Gojira. However, the biggest difference is on vocals. Vocally ERDVE stand out in a realm all their own. As stated above, they are hootin’ and hollerin’, but I feel like that translates into raw emotion. While I may not speak their native tongue, the best part about music is that it transcends spoken language. You still feel what they want you to feel. It’s a base understanding.


That base understanding comes out in their music. It holds their emotion. It has this beautiful way of sounding melancholy. It’s a heartfelt soundscape. The album is genuinely solid from beginning to end. No skips. Just a lot of heart.
