For over a decade, Seven Eyed Crow have carved their path on the European progressive scene with a rare ambition: pushing the boundaries between groove, complexity and emotion.

 

I am absolutely new to Seven Eyed Crow. It’s no secret that I am a big fan of Prog music. Emerge definitely gives us the prog we all know and all. Djenty riffs, lots of jazz influence, strong bass lines. The album delivers a flowing evolution of music.

 

Each song has its own technical aspect. Complimented by vocals that are just as technical. Ebbs from singing to almost rapping. The lyrics are wonderful as well. Direct and deliberate.

 

Emerge is a pleasant surprise for me. I can definitely see where they fall in line with the top prog artists currently, however Seven Eyed Crow stands on their own feet. It’s a good listen!
