NYC shock-metal act MZZTR are set to roll out their debut EP Pronounced MIS-TER.

 

I need you to think if GWAR and Mister Bungle had a love child, it would be MZZTR. Literally opening with Holes and begging to be filled up. The album is a sonic assault on your senses. Pushing boundaries while you’re too shocked to turn away.

 

Honestly MZZTR feels like a queer coded, anger driven band that’s perfect for the rage part of Pride Month. There’s talent here. You just have to listen.

 

I personally giggled at I cüm Blürd as it’s a parody of a popular Cannibal Corpse song. I gotta say, I’m here for a female front rage version of the song.

 

Pride started with a riot, and MZZTR is definitely a riot to listen to.
