Last Battle is more than a musical project; it is a spiritual and sonic fortress built by Anatoliy, a veteran of the Ukrainian underground scene.

Obviously, this band is completely new to me. The album is like a trip down memory lane, music wise, for me. Beautiful music, hard vocals, it’s a symphonic death metal dream.

I would say Last Battle is very akin to Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth. That’s not saying they’re all carbon copies of each other. Last Battle has their own unique sound that is battle tested. It’s hard to pick a standout song because they’re all powerhouses.
