Staying at the top of the metalcore scene for the last twenty years, In This Moment are delivering their latest installment, Witch.


Now, I used to be into In This Moment in a very heavy way. I still sing Beautiful Tragedy all the time. Maria Brink is a huge recent that female lead bands are taken seriously in the scene. So, I was excited to get this album to review.


The era that In This Moment is ushering in is one of heavy emotion and collectiveness. This is on par for them, but it does feel like a swift from their earlier work. You’re absolutely going to get a hymnal for the broken, lost, and ready to grow.


The album features some guess vocals which may surprise you. I was. That’s a bit ominous but, trust me when I say you want to go into them blind. For me their track “Into The Dark” is the best on the album. I love the softer side to it. It does flow with the album, which hits all the right spots and cues.



Set your truth on fire! It’s what the band wants.
