Oslo-based Halcyon Days return with their most focused and emotionally driven album to date. So, I put on my headphones and gave it a spin!
It is a truly solid metalcore album from start to finish. This is my first listen to the band and I’ll be adding them to normal rotation. This album is full of emotion, generally screamed out, and leaves you feeling a bit raw.
The instrumental is what you would expect from a metalcore album, but that isn’t to say that it doesn’t stand out. It absolutely does. It even gives you a bit of a reprieve in emotions halfway through the album.
Genuinely a solid no skip from start to finish. Give it a spin.
