Behind The Veil is a 2 female fronted melodic metal band originated in Belgium and was born from the ashes of the covid pandemic.

 

So, as usual this was my first go with Behind The Veil. I do enjoy Metalcore or Melodic Metal, so this was a treat to listen to. For me they did feel a bit nostalgic as they reminded me of a friend’s band.

 

The overall dynamic of the band seems to be one that is very cohesive. For an Indie release, that can be an undertaking. The music is well mixed; the lyrics are strong. It is a shorter EP that leaves you wanting more.

 

The blend of vocals across both leads is really nice too. It harkens back to the early days of The Butcher Babies, back when Carla was in the band. The versatility in both their vocals makes the band stand out.

 

Definitely recommend!
